Tour Policies
INVOICE AND DEPOSITS: Most vendors require deposits to guarantee reservations for meals, attractions, shows, etc. We must; therefore, ask that your group adhere to the deposit schedule on the invoice. King Ward Tours can not guarantee the availability of space until such deposit is received. If deposits are not received by the due date, the trip is subject to cancellation.
PRICES: Most tours have been priced on 38 and 48 paying passengers. This gives you a guideline to work with if you are having trouble filling your bus. Either price category offer two complimentary tour packages. The prices in the catalogue are per person and are based on a Greater Springfield departure. Driver gratuities are not included.
FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment for most one-day tours is due three weeks prior to departure. Multi-day tours, rooming list, and final payment is due six weeks prior. Individual checks should be made out to your club or organization; then one check for payment made out to King Ward Tours.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation fees are not charged if you cancel your tour thirty days out; however, if you need to cancel less that thirty days prior a fee will be charged, in addition to any “non-refundable” tour expenses incurred because of the cancellation. These include, but are not limited to, “non-refundable deposits and pre-purchased tickets.”
INDIVIDUAL CANCELLATIONS: No individual cancellations on or after final payment date. No refunds for “no shows”. Travel insurance is available for multi-day tours.
ALCOHOL DEPOSIT: Alcoholic beverages are allowed on board with approval from King Ward Tours. A $200. deposit is required with final payment, and will be refunded within 7-10 days after the trip, provided there is no excessive cleaning or damage on the coach.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed on any of our vehicles at any time.
RESPONSIBILITY: King Ward Tours will not be responsible for acts of war, weather, etc., that might interrupt, cancel or strand individuals. We will do our best to work out a solution.
